Kommende søndag spiller vi på Garage Oslo sammen med amerikanske The Midnight Ghost Train og That Lonesome Sound (N). I tillegg vil Hanne Lillevold gjøre en legendarisk gjesteopptreden sammen med Cobra Kai. Dette blir vakkert!

Tee project part five

I'll say it again: I'm so greatful for all my model friends who wants to take part in the CK tee project. This time the foxy model is Mari. The t shirt has a new neck and the arms has been folded and sewn inwards. I think we took about a 100 pictures and she looked so beautiful on every single one! Mari is attending our concert on Last Train this Thursday, are you?

Studio Line

Here are a few photos from our studio session @ Smokin Frog Recordings. We spent a week there, recording a record breaking eight songs in six days. Oy vey! Hopefully the record will be out before x-mas! Oh, and the guy in the photos is sound tech Øyvind. Whatta guy...♥

Tee project part four

My dear friend Marit, who has a great talent for designing and sewing, transformed a red CK tee into a jumpsuit for baby Aurora in just one day. You just have to see the pictures for yourself. Aurora was so sweet and patient
and we had so much fun dressing her up for her photo shoot. Marit is the photographer behind CK's "sofa pictures" which we use here on our website. She also took these pictures of Aurora. We have no problem imagining that Aurora one day will make a career as a photo model / rock n' roller. Thanks to both of you for contributing to the tee project.

21th of June: Concert tonight @ Garage Oslo w/ Bulk

Tonight we play together with Bulk. Come down to Garage Oslo and have a beer with us, the concert is free. Bulk is a Oslo based band that play bulldozer metal and we are really looking forward to rock some socks off with them tonight.

Tee project part three

This time the photo model and designer is my dear friend Kristine. We had so much fun taking these photos and Kristine looks so beautiful! Kristine is a real rock chick in her "bare shoulders cut" t shirt. She wears her t shirt with a belt and black hot pants. The hot pants don't show here though, because those photos were too hot for public eyes;) Stay tuned, more t shirt photos to come.

Tee project part two

My sister Lena (which by the way, is the very creator of our web page) has also contributed to my project.She cut the neck and gave it a rougher, much more cooler look.The back has been sewn in, so that the tee has a more feminine touch. (I think Marianne did that too buy the way).

Lena also made a cool split in each sleeve, giving the t shirt a real rock look.
I think she looks really cool:)

Tee project

We ordered some t shirts years ago, but I thought the shape of them were quite boring and ordinary. So I asked some of my friends to redesign a CK t shirt each and make them unique. Luckily for me they wanted to and they would even let me do some photo shoots of them wearing their tee. I'm not a photographer though. But all of my friends are beautiful, so that makes the job easier. First model out is Marianne K. She has changed and sewed a new neck on the t shirt and added leather patches to each shoulder. She also made a split in each sleeve.

"Free Love and Gun Show" mix update

Just finished a rough mix of three of the songs. We're going to leave it alone for a while, while Morten goes to New York and Marianne stays behind and does all the tedious stuff. The songs will soon be available for streaming on http://www.cobrakai.no.

"Free Love and Gun Show" pre-lim mixing

We started recording songs for what we're hoping will become a full-fledged whole-length kick-ass album. We're doing the work ourselves, at least at this stage, though we may get some help doing the more intricate parts.
So far we've recorded.. Well, I guess the ballad parts:

• Songs for Teenage Suicides (surf guitar version)
• Late
  
• Just Another Girl
• Cut Around the Scar (definitely not a ballad, but whatever)

With our upcoming website-launch we'll be releasing some of these songs exclusively. So keep watching the skies... Er... cobrakai.no thing.
